What is the protocol for a threesome and how do you help it happen?

There isn't one universal rulebook. For us, the best place to start is before everyone is naked.

There are more threesomes happening today than ever. MFM threesomes can be fairly easy to find, but everyone still needs to be on the same page. Who is comfortable touching whom... and how?

FMF can be a little more complicated. It certainly helps if both women are bisexual, but we've had plenty of FMF experiences where neither woman was bi. What matters is that everybody knows what everyone is comfortable with, what is off limits, and whether the chemistry is actually there.

Don't assume that because three people are interested, everybody wants exactly the same thing. Ask. Listen. Let things develop naturally. Sometimes the best way to help a threesome happen is simply to stop trying so hard to make it happen.

Clear communication has saved us from a lot more trouble than clever maneuvering ever could.

What do you do if you are not really bisexual?

You don't have to be. Being part of the swinger lifestyle doesn't require anyone to become bisexual or participate in something they don't genuinely enjoy. You don't have to “take one for the team,” even if your partner is hot and heavy for the experience to happen.

The important part is being clear about what you like, what you don't like, and where your boundaries are. That includes where you're comfortable being touched and what kinds of touching are welcome. Different people enjoy different combinations of attention and interaction, and nobody should have to perform an identity just because of the situation they're in.

As usual, talking about it before you're naked makes almost everything easier.
